CORE International Inc. (CORE), routinely works with a wide variety of financial institutions including the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Export Import Bank, The World Bank, Asian Development Bank, regional development banks (e.g., Islamic Development Bank, Kuwait Fund) and numerous commercial and investment banks. CORE has prepared infrastructure (energy, transportation, telecommunications, and industrial development) projects for the International Financing Institutions (IFIs) in most countries in the Africa Region and in over 45 countries in other regions. We have worked on power and telecom project financing with the African Development Bank and The World Bank in Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria, Mali, Chad, Zambia, and other countries in the region. In addition, we have coordinated financing of over 50 energy projects in Asia with The World Bank and the Asian Development Bank in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Korea, Fiji, etc. Most of these projects have involved co-financing from other donors and lenders such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the U.S. Export Import Bank, the OECF (Japan), Hermes (France), GTZ (Germany), Danida (Denmark), etc. CORE is familiar with key approaches to blending bilateral grants, IFI grant/loan packages, IFC equity investment, and private sector debt/equity financing for development projects. CORE 's experience spans all the procedures of the IFIs, including the project cycle, loan disbursement, loan conditionalities, and procurement guidelines.

Based on its hands-on experience and understanding of donor financing criteria and private sector investor requirements for participating in infrastructure projects, CORE has a long proven track record of developing attractive projects for investment.
