CORE International, Inc. (Core) works in various industries, the Energy Sector being a primary focus area, as we are convinced that an efficient energy sector plays a critical role in alleviating poverty and promoting sustainable economic and social development. CORE provides short and long-term advisory, technical assistance, training and capacity building in the following areas of the Energy Sector:

CORE employs and collaborates with energy experts with many years of worldwide experience in technical and financial issues in the energy industry. This experience includes sector assessment, rational use of energy, energy planning, development of investment projects, policy reform, pricing and tariff reform, strategic advisory services to governments, development of strategic plans and frameworks, removal of monopolies, increasing private sector participation, providing training to utility personnel, technology transfer, program management and institutional capacity building. At the present time, CORE is providing its services to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as a prime contractor for two Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQCs):
