CORE International in collaboration with the partnering Indian institutions, has identified the following fifteen DRUM Training Program themes within the three broad focus areas of Technical, Managerial/Business and Support functions.

  • Rural Power Supply and Participatory Models

Support Themes

Targeted training courses are developed to address the specific needs of utility personnel in respective geographic areas. In order to ensure maximum results and long-term effects of the delivered training, careful consideration is also given to other relevant aspects, such as training course length, optimum mix of training delivery mechanisms (in-class training, case studies, field visits, role playing, etc.), maximum classroom size, delivery in local languages, and targeted level of trainees. Beneficiaries of the DRUM Training Program will include the following levels of participants in Indian distribution utilities:
